Julie’s Nearly Famous Fish Tacos are back!!! She uses fresh Red Snapper from Lytle’s and prepares her delicious Pico de Gallo and Crema (in house and from scratch)! I have selected a special Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand to pair with the tacos… this is a new producer for us and I am excited to be able to present this wine. Please take a look at our full menu in detail by clicking on our Menu tab.

Our first Wonderfully Wacky Wednesday was a success! The room was full of “well attired” folks (both guys and gals) sporting some of their finest (and wackiest) head attire! There were tiaras and all sorts of hats… your own Sommelier couldn’t decide between the shark hat (gift from Lu) and a tiara so she wore both and was referred to as a “Shark Princess” which seemed to suit the day! Please plan to join us on Wednesday, June 24th. We are open from 2-7 pm but our event time will be 5-7 pm. There will be special foods prepared for you… perhaps even something a little wacky!!! This event is open to all (so long as you are at least 7670.09 days old).
We are pleased to be able to offer you some new cheeses that have been cut and wrapped to take away. These are perfect for a picnic on the beach or for enjoying in your home, hotel, condo, camper… wherever you want to nibble! Our offerings will include three new cheeses: Humboldt Fog from Cypress Grove in Humboldt County, California; Delice de Bourgogne from Burgundy, France; and Elderflower Tomme “La Cigogne” from Alsace, France. For complete descriptions of all these cheese please visit us at Sipping Serendipity. We also have beautiful flatbread crackers to enjoy with them as well as French baguettes. Oh, and a little something to add to your cheese plates… Quince Paste in jars to go.
So stop by to pick up your cheese, bread/crackers, wine, and then stop by the Village Shoppe for your fresh cut flowers!

Welcome to Ocean Shores, Washington and more specifically… to our special place on the coast. We are so glad that you are visiting our website and hope to meet you soon in our wine shoppe. We are the owners of Sipping Serendipity Wine Shoppe and have chosen this name because we so love the concept. Serendipity… the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.
My husband, Alan, and I moved to Ocean Shores in 2010. He is newly retired and we decided that relocating to the Pacific Northwest would bring us much happiness in our retirement years. And then… this serendipitous opportunity presented itself and we embraced it. On April 14 we will be opening our doors to our community and all its visitors. A dream come true for me!
Our son and his wife and our daughters and their signficant others have supported and encouraged us through this process and have played a major role in helping us with everything from the design of our logo to the develpment of our website and we thank them very much! Our new Ocean Shores friends as well as family and friends from other places have encouraged us as well.
When you visit our shoppe we encourage you to explore the many bottles of wine from the Pacific Northwest and all around the world. We will be happy to answer your questions and make suggestions about our wines. Do you need a little guidance with a food and wine pairing? We will be more than pleased to help you with that. Would you like to enjoy a glass of wine or maybe a flight of red or white wines in our shoppe? We offer those options everyday at our wine bar. We also have an assortment of IPA’s if that is your preference. And if you are looking for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage we can offer you something from our retro-sodas collection. We look forward to serving you!
Looking for a gift item? We can help you choose a bottle of wine or maybe you would prefer a gift certificate. We have a selection of other items as well including napkins, wine accessories, bags, glassware and of course the edible items including chocolates, gourmet crackers, and other snacks.
We hope to see you soon and often! Cheers!
Deb Haggard, Certified Sommelier
